Hey not just MAC people are watching the BG game. I'm rooting for you guys as the opposition looks to be thugish to me and BG looks like the more disciplined team.

Marshall/NIU up next. Not sure how NIU will keep pace with an explosive Herd offensive, especially in the ideal Florida weather. Game could get ugly real quick-like unless NIU forces some big turnovers.

Woot! The MAC East, undefeated in bowl games in the 2014 Post Season!

Well, yeah, that's 1-0, given that only two were bowl eligible and only one landed an invite.

Next Stop Boca Raton ... C'mon Huskies!

This game could have gone either way, esp. what the beginning of the fourth (?) when a TD return was called back because of a block in the back.

If that play had stood, WMU would have had a one point lead and the Terrell fumble, returned for a TD, would not have had happened.

This was really one of those games where breaks determined the outcome.

Franklin did not look 100%. Chance was not dinged up at all. WMU abandoned the run game before the game even started. AF has a stellar run defense. PJ said if we were going to win this game it would have to be through the air, but our WR's had a bunch of drops and passes slip through their hands. One of our worst games of the year for sure.

Congrats BG - good win on the road, was not expecting a win after struggling down the stretch and having to play in team in its home state. Solid.

I'm curious about your signature below:

Toledo Rockets football this decade:
02-13-banana5-0 vs. WMU ~~~5-0 vs. CMU ~~~5-0 vs. EMU ~~~5-0 vs. BGsucks ~~~2-0 vs. Kent State ~~~2-0 vs. Buffalo ~~~1-0 vs. Ohio ~~~1-0 vs. Miami ~~~1-0 vs. Temple ~~~3-2 vs. Ball State 1-1 vs. Akron ~~~0-5 vs. NIU

Miami beat Toledo in 2009, so how is Toledo 1-0 vs Miami "this decade"??????????????? and again in 2004...

I believe he's going from 2010 onwards, which would've been the start of the current decade.

MAC Bowl Games
KSU is undefeated in regular season MAC play 50% of the time this decade in the odd numbered years.

(MAC teams don't really have much to brag about unless they can throw out some selective stats. Thus is the nature of life in the second tier of the FBS.)

RE: MAC Bowl Games
Since 2010, which happened to be the start of the decade those are our records in MAC play. Sure it's a selective stat over the past five seasons, but luckily for us it also falls on the start of a decade so I can say that. I did not mean the past 10 seasons... that would be a terrible stat to use as a signature because we were bad from 06-09

2009 and 2004 are not in the same decade as 2014.

Your popped collar got in the way of your thinking I believe.

Never seen somebody so proud of not even winning their division before.

That was a terrible call too. The defender saw the blocker coming and turned his back (away from the play I might add) at the last second. Don't know if WMU goes on to win but it certainly was a momentum changing call.

I mentioned that call on another board and wondered if the AF player did it intentionally. If so, it was a smart play to dupe the referee, because that's probably what all the officials focus on during kick and punt returns. Those calls are not reviewable, right?

Yeah, I saw that too and talked about it quite a bit. Don't know if the AF kid was that quick thinking; I figured the WMU player just had to be an impediment, not actually initiate the block.

I think that's right.
