Some highlights from the meeting:

From David Carrington's Twitter:

"Attending meeting with developers & elected officials at Jim n Nicks on Oxmoor at 11:30 am to review economic impact of Dr Watts decisions."

"At well-attended meeting with business executives and elected state legislators (4 Republicans, 4 Democrats)"

"@repjack; Bham & Jeffco have become "can do" governments. The UAB football decision was a "can't do" one."

From Jeffco Rep Allen Farley's twitter:

"Just attended a meeting to discuss UAB athletics. This just might be the beginning of the Jeff Co Legislative Delegation standing as ONE."

"...If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
Time to put a boot to this crimson wearing empire.

....they're right...Watch and see...This city may not be the "Football Capitol Of The South" anymore, but it's still the most popular sport in this area. The scales of fairness and shared governance are clearly unbalanced against UAB and Birmingham when it comes to this, & both must be as aggressive as ever to get back what was taken. #RKORLW
