maybe UM-Lambuth will grow enough to have sports teams so Union can go back to kicking Lambuth's #$% is everything again.

As a satellite campus they can play intramural sports, but they aren't a seperate school like UTK and UTM.

Back when they had a football program, Bear Bryant coached there at least one season. And years ago, the Tigers played Union a few times in basketball.

Union played Memphis in basketball regularly from the 40s to the early 70s. Union last beat Memphis in the 69-70 season, I think.

I went to Lambuth for 1 year in 67-68. It was a very nice small school but at that time, they had mandatory chapel.

This is more big news and we plan on really developing our statelite campus and growing our brand throughout Jackson on up to Dyersburg and West Tennessee.....University of Memphis, Delta's Team....The World Is Ours Memphis....

No, not at all. I was raised in the church but most teenagers (I was 17) hit a period of time when they are not interested in the church. College life was a new experience to me having been a wall flower in high school. I took a walk on the wild side. (for me anyway). Been active in my church/community for many years now. It was just a detour....lol.
