The players ability to miss easy shots is an A. That isn't Davis' fault. Missed 4 shots right at the basket, 1 footers. Cobb has missed wide open 3's. You have to make some of these.

What happened to the tough street fight defense? Look I realize their coach isn't there and I'm sure it's on players mind but that's what this team was supposed to overcome...toughness...what happened to it?

Nice wins like Wed lose meaning when you come out flat and uninspired Saturday at noon. Disappointing game when you thought they were turning the corner. Wasnt a corner though, it's apparently a roundabout.

The glaring obvious difference so far -

One team can shoot, the other can't.

Of course there is more to it than that. VCU has a more fluid offense that is creating open shots.

Yes, Caupain has been bad today. And, of course, Shaq Thomas, now in year 4 of his "Will I ever be a man?" tour, has been completely invisible.

Many open shots, this is the worst jump shooting team I've ever seen. Clark, Ellis and DeBerry all look off balance 9 out of 10 shots. Just POOP,POOR SHOOTING.

Same with KJ in his limited time on the floor.

Seems like the zone is being used because UC doesn't think they can have 2 bigs in the game and play man effectively vs a team that uses 4 guards.

But at some point we have to accept that the 2 bigs aren't helping much on offense anyway. Run a man to man, even if that means we also have to play 4 guards/forwards.
