I hope BC beats Penn State. Addazio can coach and recruit.

Admittedly shocked at the job he's done after his offenses at uf and unimpressive record at temple. Key is to not lose your coach to an nc state type of this school this go-round.

I saw on college football live today that the BC vs. PSU game has the 3rd highest priced tickets on the secondary market. That's pretty impressive for a team that 'doesn't travel well'.

NC State did BC a favor by taking Tom O'Brien. TOB wasn't well liked by BC's AD and their fans.

Yea, because they did so well post-O'Brien.

But Penn St. does travel well. You do realize, of course, that the crowd will be overwhelmingly pro Penn St. don't you? Expect easily 80%.

BC will be well represented at Yankee Stadium. Thank you for your interest in BC football.

Penn State has nearly 5X as many students as BC. If every student at both schools ALL wen to the Pinstripe Bowl, the crowd would be... wait for it... 80% PSU.

So then you are acknowledging, that the demand for the tickets that's driving prices upward is from... wait for it... Penn St., not B.C as was inferred. Not that either of us expects college students to make up the bulk of attendence that day.

I don't have any hard numbers. BC sold out its allotment; BC fans have certainly contributed their fair share to ticket demand. Again, thank you for your interest in BC football. We are ready to welcome you with open arms to the fan base of New England's only big time, P5 football team.

Yea, because they did so well post-O'Brien.

BC's problem was canning Jagodzinski after he interviewed with the Jets. They then hired a career assistant Frank Spaziani, just because he was loyal to the football program. Their incompetent AD at the time was the reason why the football program went down the tubes. It had nothing to do with Tom O'Brien.

Pretty much on target. The decision to hire Spaz was a disaster; they'll do a case study someday about how you can almost kill an entire football program in 4 years. I don't know if Addazio will be the ultimate answer, but, he's certainly brought hope back.

You know, before Addazio announced he was leaving Temple to take the BC job, I never heard anything but positives from the Temple fanbase. Once he announced he was leaving, he was suddenly proclaimed to be a "loser" by many of these very same fans.
Still bitter?
