Just picked up my tickets for the game and was told that the alumni association filled up three charter buses. It will be a very tough game. I think it comes down to UTEP's defense vs. Utah States 4th string quarterback. I hope it works out like the UTEP-UTSA game.

That 4th stringer has been helping them win for the most part. They are 9-4 so I take no solace in the fact that this QB is 4th string.

Utah State has done an amazing job through the season of winning despite several QBs going down.

Will be a tough matchup but best of luck to UTEP.

Utah St. is a very solid squad on both sides of the ball. Anyone that beats them this year is a very good team

Roughly 15k tickets sold to Miner fans so far. Not sure how USU is doing on sales but they are further away. With our sold out mbb game Friday night there will be lots of traffic on the Interstate Saturday morning going north.

When we played BYU in the 2010 New Mexico Bowl, they traveled well and they are from UTAH too.

USU may travel well but BYU has tons more fans than USU and UTEP traveled quite a bit better to the bowl than BYU did.
