Memphis Hoops Trivia
Basketball trivia question...

What team has Memphis played in postseason (NIT & NCAA) tournaments, more than any other opponent?

You guys are so smart.

Yes. ORU. Twice in the NIT (both ORU wins) and twice in the NCAA tourney (both Memphis wins).

Next closest with three is Purdue and UCLA.

I still think Wilfong's foot was on the line.

Thank God for no instant replay back then...

Correct. That was back when ORU was a top 25 program and Oral spared no expense. Almost got Jay Bilas, a few years later.

It doesn't matter whether you think his foot was on the line or not it counted for the winner.

Really?
Thanks for the info.

I thought I'd already said thank God for no replays...
I'm glad we won. Guess what! I was a fan of the team and the coach then too just like I am now.

I don't think you can say the same.

Why are you continually bothering me with your negativity?
