I told this story somewhere else so I'll tell it here, too. A while back I was visiting my techs in the field and safety requirements state that I have to wear a bright safety vest when I'm outside. Some racist thought I was a crossing guard.

I've had it happen to me and I've done it myself. It's just an honest mistake as not all stores have well defined uniforms for their employees. As I've said before, people of Michelle's generation perceive all interactions with white people through the prism of race. It's time for them to turn over the watch.

I still don't get how merely asking someone for help is racist? That boggles the mind.

Two very different tellings of the same story, depending on the audience, I guess, so one of them is a public lie, yet again.

May have been Meghan Kelly show.

Letterman, and she was chuckling about it while she told it. I think it was in 2012.

In Moochelle's case, she's implying that only low class, insignificant minorities hold jobs at Target, so asking her for help meant you thought she was a low class, insignificant minority. She's the friggin racist, not the person who asked her girl help. Would a racist even ask her for help? She's such a lying biatch.

True, if that woman was a racist, she probably would have walked away from Moo.

Normally something like this would suck them in like a tractor beam. I had to put it in the big boy room so that I didn't get warned again for being racist, because I almost said banana earlier.

I've been in Best Buy or Wal Mart and been asked before did I work there.. I would politely say no, but asked what was the problem I might could help. Never once did I get mad.. I laughed.

That's because your privilege precluded you from being offended.

You weren't allowed to get mad.

Not only are the Obama's skin black it appears it is a like thin as well.

FWIW I looked on line and saw links to a couple different places where the original link is published. In nearly every one (including People Magazine) I saw comments from people who identified themselves as liberal who think the Obama's are being over the top here. I think this story is going to continue to errode the public' satisfaction with them.

I only read the People article, but I noticed only one or two people out of the first 100 or so comments thought the bammars were good in what they did.

Because she didn't see me as the first lady, she saw me as someone who could help her. Those kinds of things happen in life. So it isn't anything new."

That is absolutely asinine. I mean, really? She thinks that is racist? lol. I've helped folks dozens of times reach top shelf items. It's not because they are racist, it's because they are short and I'm tall.

Yes...This happens to everyone. What a damn diva this chick is.03-banghead

Only someone with an inferiority complex or an elitist would be upset by that.

Or somebody just looking for a reason to be offended. Unfortunately, many folks wake up every morning with just that intention.

She has no reason to be upset at her station in life. She is very successful. WTF is her problem?

You can take the rat out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the rat. She has to be a victim.
