Just saw a couple UAB guys with some of our football players at our basketball game tonight. No idea who they are.

The one on the right is defensive tackle Jontavious Morris. Hard to tell the other one but it might be offensive guard Roscoe Byrd. They were high school teammates and roommates at UAB. Both were starters.

Morris is definitely one. WKU recruited him out of high school. Tops are one of his finalists right now.

I had meetings at the Holiday Inn in Bowling Green Tuesday morning at 9 am. There was a group of young men having breakfast in the restaurant that had WKU visitor badges on. Two were wearing UAB jackets. They were obviously football players. Pretty big. I immediately assumed theses were players aking a look at WKU.

Jake Ganus is down to Marshall or Georgia.

Morris says on Twitter he is going to WKU.

Pretty much. Georgia only wants him if he counts against next year's 25 limit. I think he'd be treated better at Marshall. He might ride the bench at UGA.

What kinda of player was he. Would he help us. I hate to ask because it feels like I'm asking my buddy to sleep with his wife...... Thanks

Played in every game for us. He's the big guy getting the first score in this UNT highlight video.

Ganus has been on campus. I think it would be a good fit for him with us graduating Hewitt and Holmes. If Ganus signs on then I believe Shaq Jones comes also. They would both see the field here next year.

Sounds like Morris may not be the only one to transfer to WKU.
