Hey, I'll play!

1. UGA - I have nothing against so-called Wal-Mart fans, but the Bulldog grip on this state gets really old. They seemingly have more than their fair share of annoying fans. (Notice how no one ever says, "Athens, now there's a gameday experience you have to have, great people down there.") An Auburn alum wife and annoying Georgia fan relatives push this one over the top. I almost hate to admit that I breathe a sigh of relief each year when their national championship hopes finally fall flat.

2. Bama - Partly due to the allegiance to Auburn via the wife; partly due to getting sick of hearing about their history. It's also annoying that they claim national championships they shouldn't (especially considering that their record is pretty dang good anyway). They certainly have their share of ahole fans, too.

Hard to say after that. Some GS fans have definitely swayed me against them, but I enjoy having a rivalry with them. Elitist Techies annoy me. And there's definitely a group of big schools that I just get tired of seeing on top of the headlines (Texas, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Southern Cal).

I can't limit myself to 3; sorry.

In no particular order...
1a - Alabama/The rest of the SEC: I don't care. I'm tired of hearing about it. Many people I know feel the same. Let it go and stick to your own media markets.
1b - ESPN (I know it isn't a school): There is more to college sports than a handful of schools and turning up the hype machine won't make me care. Here's an idea: you bought the rights to a game and chose to air it; How about you talk about the game/teams/conference you ACTUALLY HAVE ON TV AT THE TIME.
2 - Georgia Southern: ... because f*** Georgia Southern.
3 - East Carolina: It's as if they've forgotten they are still in Greenville, a collection of the worst humanity has to offer and deposited in Eastern NC. At least it isn't in Statesboro, i guess.
4 - Penn State: I think everyone is aware of what happens when an athletics program is treated as infallible and put on a pedestal by their fans, alumni, town, administration, and students. Dropping their program to D3 and allowing an opportunity to refocus would have been an extremely generous punishment. Winning is never that important.

Apart from Clemson and Georgia, find it increasingly difficult to work up a good case of hate anymore ..... Appy, they're probably the closest thing we've got left to a rival since Furman fell on hard times. but I don't really hate Appy.
North Dakota State pissed me off because they've beaten us all three times we played (though the first shouldn't count because of that ******* BVG), but I respect their program too much to hate it. And this is all to new, so I haven't really got to the point I can look at a Sun Belt school and say, I hate those (self-deleted).

La Tech ...always. Someone mentioned if the pigs would start playing us their feelings may change toward them. Not me...I despise them now and if we played them I would despise them more. What fun is sports if you don't have some teams you detest! When you beat them nothing feels better...lose and you hope tomorrow the Sun still comes up.
