One of my friends who lives in Jonesboro ran into someone who is supposedly well connected with the ASU program, and asked him if Brady was on the hot seat. The man said Brady could stay as long as he wanted. Is Chris their AD?

Interesting comment on this, but those two get mixed up so often that the Oxford Dictionary has added an entry to make Jive correct.

Webster's doesn't agree. So, if I was in the UK, what I would have said would be perfectly acceptable, but since I am in the US...its not.

What's the big deal Winston, as dumb as some of us may be, we got the meaning. That is kinda like the old saying in baseball, "throw it right down the pipe." I've also heard "throw it right down the pike." I'd guess pipe is the correct or original, but I've heard it said both ways.
