That is when Memphis wrestling was put on live support. But by then it was already relegated to closed movie theaters and closed down shopping centers. Maclins promotion was on life support from day one and never did reach the level of the pitiful Power Pro promotion.

Under his reign it went from a promotion in which WMC paid for the rights to air to a buy time promotion.
