I'm sure we all share in the pain you feel for failing in your dream to be a pro wrassler.

(Just kidding but I couldn't resist.)

Didn't fail turned down the offer.

He is an announcer who exactly isnt he allowing to devlop.

Main event at Minglewood hall tomorrow night is a 65 year old Lawler against a 71 year old Dundee. And baby Lawler vs JJ. While OVW is airing it's 800 show covering a territory was was once a part of the Memphis territory.

Lawler killed it when he ran off the talent that was coming around and not sticking around because he would not allow anyone else to get the big push. That is no my opinion that is what is being said by a lot of that talent.

Fact is Lawler got his panties in a wad over and incident that started with comments by Doug Gilbert when Gilbert went off script and told all the back stage secrets. Because Hale only punoish Gilbert as severly as Lawler wanted Lawler got pissed off and left Power Pro and took the WWE developmental contract with it. That is when Memphis wrestling was put on live support. But by then it was already relegated to closed movie theaters and closed down shopping centers. Maclins promotion was on life support from day one and never did reach the level of the pitiful Power Pro promotion.

Lawler running USWA in to the ground after Jarret left and then selling to a con man was a major factor. Under his reign it went from a promotion in which WMC paid for the rights to air to a buy time promotion. Jarrett build one of the few local promotions in which the local TV actually PAID them to air the program.

Can someone interpret the above sentence?

His main gig has been an announcer for the last 20 years, which made NASCAR bob's post that much more bizarre.

The local kids know who Lawler is. And most of the out of town kids do too.

A legend is a legend regardless of age. If Ali was able to make an appearance it wouldn't matter how old he is.

That reminds me of one of my favorite quotes. I have a friend whose dad is real country and who used to be a big drinker. This quote came from him...

"Been to the Indy 500 and never saw a car. Been to the Kentucky Derby and never saw a horse."

The reason he don't race or wrassle no more is detailed in another thread he started involving a racing accident. I ain't saying that's any excuse for posting weird sh*T, but I am sayin part of your foot done wound up in your mouth, not that there's anything wrong with that. We've all tasted our own feets at one time or another.
