So, since the protests began en masse, it's been made clear that there is no shouting over the band or house music. Based on this observation, to me there is one time that the Fire Ray Watts chant would have maximum impact tomorrow.

During every LSU free throw.

We need to organize the band/students to start this. Every. Single. Time.

The usual antics are cool, but this is a chance to call for Watts' head loud and clear on national TV--potentially more than 25 times!

Every dead ball opportunity during the game (that doesn't negatively affect the team) should be filled with chants of protest. The trick is to do it when the PA/DJ can't interrupt...

That's why opposing free throws are the perfect time. Everyone can shout it in unison and it doesn't affect our guys.

Is there a dress code, or is it clothing-optional? I'm good either way.

Yes it is. They've been giving away green t-shirts when you buy tickets to the game at the UAB bookstore, and during certain promotional periods online. I got three!

I like the "WE WANT FOOTBALL (clap clap clapclapclap)" chant too. Maybe we can throw that one in there to mix it up a little.

I'll be watching from Florida and can't wait to hear chants.BTW is the DJ the one who plays at football games? If so,drown him out with "Fire ray watts"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the cadence of the marine chant "I don't know but I've been told...."

It goes:

I don't know what I don't know.
Ray D. Watts has told me so.
He loves UAB more than me.
That's a lie, we all can see.

When challenged by the football players while telling them football was cut, Watts belittled their time at UAB and their love of the school by saying he had 42 years at UAB - counting his 4 as an undergrad and the last 11, bridging the time in between.
