Maybe they'll open the Clevelander for the Bowl Game tho. Would make it worth it.

As home team we probably get the dirt sideline.

Paxton or Hayes can slide into 3rd for a TD and they can set off that jumping fish thing in CF.

Marlins Park was built smack dab where the Orange Bowl was located. When all 500 of us Tiger fans are sitting there with the 3 or 4 thousand Mormans, we can all close our eyes and imagine were sitting in the Orange Bowl with an atmosphere like the old U days.

That's what Louisville used to do prior to Papa John's.

I wonder if the old Bowl Bar is still down on the corner? Always was a nice place to go get stabbed, er, I mean go get a drink.

Man. The oldest bar in Dade County (Tobacco Road) just had to close it's doors and the GD Bowl Bar is still open. There is no justice.

Why is this game not being played at Joe Robbie (Sun Life) Stadium?

Because that's where the Orange Bowl is played.

There's no conflict with the date. I hate seeing football fields being crammed into baseball stadiums.

The date isn't the point. The fact that the Orange Bowl has a partnership with Sun Life is the point. They're not going to allow another Bowl there.

Me too ... the turf is never solid. Players have trouble their footing, and the field looks like crap most of the time.

We might as well be happy about it though. Our Tigers are BOWLING!
