Poor move by the ODU Bookstore to close at 5 tonight. They just cost themselves a large sale and probably created a disappointed 5 year old. They could have at least posted their "holiday hours" on the website. There were several other flustered middle-aged men outside the door as well.

Poor management and planning .....they should never close anytime there is a game at the TED. Especially two weeks before Christmas and a BIG GAME. I'm sure there would have been a ton of people ready to buy lots of stuff for Christmas. I am absolutely shocked that whoever is in the management position to run the bookstore, thought this was a good idea.

No doubt they lost money on this one. Poor planning by ODU. This doesn't require too much foresight. They should have extened hours before games.

When I am at the bookstore it seems like they employ a lot of students. It may be tough to extend hours when they are gone.

Did they move that store? Last I looked it was gone and offices are there now.

I am not sure but there were a ton of ads about the bookstore in the first half. A guy in my section even yelled
"When the Hell is it open"

Was at the Norfolk Costco today. They, too, had a table with very nice ODU and NSU jackets and hoodies - about $35. Very nice quality. I bought 2. When we see it we need to buy it - if we want it to be there.

They sell ODU Gear in the front lobby. They did move out of the "store" that used to exist - but plenty of gear for sale each game in the front lobby.

In the NN store...VCU apparel was out selling ODU gear apparel judging buy the size of the piles left. Come on spread the word.

Sat when they put it out, they only had about 1/2 as much VCU stuff as ODU stuff and just a little of VaTech swag.

They are very nice hoodies ($27), and jackets ($30). Try them on, the sleeves are tight on the jacket.

Just returned from Norfolk Costco at Military circle. I stumbled across a table full of ODU and Norfolk State apparel. Very high quality stuff at much better prices than you'd find anywhere near ODU including the ODU Bookstore. Alas, they only had hoodies and jackets. There was only one hoodie left and I bought it for my wrestler grandson visiting from San Diego. I'm sure his coaches will take notice when they see him wearing it as most of them have wrestled in the NCAA championships and are sure to have heard of ODU.

Only one hoodie left?! I got one a week before Christmas and there must have been at least 50 of them!
