I’d Call You Crazy
Stop and think about where we were in December 2013. If someone at that time said…

WMU would go from one of the worst to one of the best MAC teams (W2F).
I’d call you crazy

WMU would have a winning record in 2014.
I’d call you crazy

Our “serviceable” QB with a “noodle arm” would be one of the best in the MAC.
I’d call you crazy

If that same QB would earn second team MAC honors.
I’d call you crazy

If that same QB would score a 99% QBR in a game.
I’d call you crazy

Zach Terrell will complete 70% of his passes and throw for 3,000 yards.
I'd call you crazy

WMU would have a NCAA TD record breaking true freshman RB.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would win both the Cannon Trophy and Michigan MAC Trophy.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would win both trophies by a score of 83 to 27.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would win a game at Mt. P after starting the game down 0-14.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would keep T.Davis and another MAC star player (Rawls) out of the endzone.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would come back from a 17 point deficient at Ball State.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would beat the defending MAC champions at their place.
I'd call you crazy

WMU would win 6 games in a row.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would be a MAC West contender.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would have a player win MAC Freshman of the Year & MAC Offensive Player of the Year.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would claim the 2014 MAC Coach of the Year.
I’d call you crazy

WMU would go to a bowl game.
I’d call you crazy

Just think about that and let it sink in.

Edit: added more.

Those are pretty crazy to think about, indeed.

I'd also add...

Zach Terrell will complete 70% of his passes and throw for 3,000 yards.
I'd call you crazy

Another interesting statistic:
Andrew Haldeman has missed more PAT's (5) than he's missed FG's (3) this season. Of the three field goals that he's missed, all three of them are inside 29 yards.

Maybe we need to take a rash of holding penalties on all of our initial extra points and push ourselves back to a more comfortable Haldeman distance... 03-idea

I was thinking the same thing and was going to post the same thing until I saw your post. Maybe he needs an eye exam.

Was Franklin one of your higher ranked recruits last year? Ithe amazing he plays like that and no one seemed to be gushing over him as much as the others.

BTW - would love to hear PJ'S script on how he out recruined us on him. I have a feeling on how it wentbut love to hear his rap.

Lonnie Johnson, Chance Stewart, Chukwuma Okorafor, and Javonte Seabury were largely considered the gems of the 2014 recruiting class, and were all the highest rated kids pretty much across the board on most recruiting sites. Jarvion Franklin was a low-end 3-star recruit and was getting B1G looks, but nobody ever pulled the trigger. There were a handful of other 3-star recruits we landed that had multiple P5 offers. So even though he wasn't necessarily considered one of our "great gets", a lot of people did have him pegged to possibly be our RB of the future. I don't think anybody expected a season like this though.

Very well done. What a year it has been. Best part is, just wait for next year!

Great one! I'm going to add this one in the edit along with the last one I almost forgot.

Beat the defending MAC champions at their place.

Ciarocca would be universally praised by Bronco fans for his playcalling ability.
