This could be one of those things that ultimately is the demise of Sony, at least the motion picture company.

1. the Google hatred for the MPAA can not be understated.

2. Does anyone still have any doubts now about just how much influence major corporations have on govt officials that I and plenty of others have been complaining about over the past couple of months?

I don't see how it is the demise of Sony's motion picture industry... but a major black-eye on the MPAA (and I truly don't think anyone will be that upset if the MPAA is in hot water over this) and movie studios overall?

If it gets traction. With Disney owning ABC, and similar connections between other studios and networks, it could easily mean that this gets swept under the rug.
