How are New Orleans Carrier Bowl ticket sales going?
As per the ULL board I heard that the University of Louisiana at Lafayette ULL has only sold approximately 10,900 tickets to date. I do not expect Nevada to bring anyone into the Superdome. Couple that with a 10am game time and no one will be watching this game on TV.

No troll. This is a fact from their board. Last years New Orleans Carrier Bowl set an attendance record of 54,728.

Being factual does not mean it isn't trolling. Just sayin'.

Savacool is not someone the Tulane fanbase is fond of I'm guessing. I know I'd be pissed if a UC fan pulled this crap.

The game will have plenty of tickets sold to real purchasers and will have good attendance. It might not be 54k or 45k, but it will be in the top 3 of G5 v G5 bowl games. Neither ULL nor the Sun Belt will lose money here.

But thanks for your interest in Sun Belt athletics and the University of Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football program!

The good news for those of you ULL fans here, this is a sign that Savacool is very concerned that your school is on the verge of or passed his school athletically. Kind of like the Texas Tech fans here attacking UC over and over after they signed Tuberville away from Tech.

The Cajuns win over Tulane probably threw him for a serious loop.

What was the point of this thread? UL-Lafayette vs. Tulane isn't even a rivalry.

The NOLA Bowl was just another in a very long string of inexplicable losses for the program. Tulane shouldn't lose a game like that, but they did.

My good buddy Savacool is responsible for some quality material. Unfortunately, he's been banned from all but a couple of sites, though he hits those couple heavily telling all who will listen that the Cajun program is no threat to Tulane and that he doesn't care about us. I've lobbied the powers that be at the Sunbelt forum to let him back in but so far it's fallen on deaf ears.

You gotta admire a soldier who falls on his sword over and over again.

RE: How are New Orleans Carrier Bowl ticket sales going?
I've was not going to bring this up but later posts demands it. Last year the New Orleans Carrier Bowl set an all time record of 54,728 Tulane versus ULL. The ULL fans on their website basically said they sold 54,727 tickets and Tulane only one. Recently on their website they posted that they have sold only 10,900 tickets days before the ULL Nevada Carrier Bowl game. . They attributed the low sales to the low price of oil,Saints game that weekend, two day hotel requirement etc etc. More excuses. Mysteriously a day ago their moderator deleted the entire tread. I presume major embarrassment. PS Tulane had a sold out stadium of 30,000 for its opening game and homecoming.

Just admit that you are concerned that ULL has passed up Tulane in athletics and all will be well, Savacool. Your unhealthy obsession with ULL just makes you look like a fool. If you think Tulane is better than them, you should probably not even reference them. The moment you do you give them legitimacy.

He's the only Tulane person that bring this up. Not joking.

I still think he's a fisherman. I wonder who his real favorite team is...
