DW missed 3 or 4 weeks after getting a foot/ankle injury when a defender fell on the back of his leg, then he came back and played a little bit in one game, maybe 2. I looked to see if he got significant carries since Newton was out and saw that he missed last week and this week with a broken hand. He missed the first several weeks with a hamstring injury. He just can't catch a break this year. 03-hissyfit

He's at the end of his career. I'm thinking he'll get cut in the offseason and sign on somewhere as a backup for 2 more seasons.

Some friends of mine ran into him at a party a few years ago. They said there was some older dude with him watching his every move and that while he was the center of the party, had a big bottle, pouring everybody shots, etc.....they never saw him take a drink the entire time they were there. Said the whole scene was just weird but it sounds like he has people around him looking out for him and making sure he doesnt do anything stupid.

Or, I guess it could have just been a body guard or something.

I follow his facebook and twitter, he does not seem to spend extravagantly at all. His idea of fun is riding a 4 wheeler threw the mud and hunting, not going out and partying. He doesn't own a Bentley (as far as I can tell) or have a huge throng of hanger ons. I'm sure he has invested well.
