It was a complete game for the most part.

They let up early in the second half. The two four point plays were disappointing, but I'm not even mad. They were just a product of bad close outs if I recall correctly. It was good team defense for most of the night. I would have liked to see more lane penetration, especially when they were in the bonus super early in the first half, but overall they're making pretty big strides together.

Definitely slimmer than normal for this time of year. Maybe they'll show up to watch LSU play on Thursday...

Doubtful. They will have gone "home for Christmas". Granted, "home" is Hoover or Centerpoint, but it will be too inconvenient to travel all the way back for the game.

Very disappointed in Washingtons play this year. He has been a walking disaster. He really looks lost out there. I really hope he will snap out of it and start playing more efficient.

I would like to see more cokley.

Robert Brown played great D and is letting the game come to him. He had everal big plays down the stretch to help put it away.

Whose idea was it to play on a Sunday night? Many churches had Christmas Choir Specials and the Dallas Cowboys were on Sunday Night Football.

It's almost like they want the crowds to be small. Last time that started we lost our biggest sport. Will hoops be the next to fall under "Chainsaw Ray"?

Another possibility is that the fans stayed home in order to comment on the Birmingham News feature on old Chainsaw Ray. Comments are now up over 750.

This is not meant to be a commentary on your post, its just that your post closely reflects what may be going on in the minds of some of our fans.
Dallas Cowboys were on Sunday, I didn't know it, even if the Cowboys had played at Legion Field, I still would have been at the Blazers game, SHOW UP TO SEE THE BLAZERS, THIS IS THE ATTITUDE WE MUST HAVE. We have to support our teams..

the fact that somebody would bring the possibility that the Dallas Cowboys on TV influences support about the Blazers on their home court...well...i guess that does say a lot

How much the Sunday time (church, NFL game, etc) had to do with attendance, it may also be due to the "collateral damaging" impact of the demolition of the FB program on Blazer support for a game that was not against a "headliner" opponent and was on locally broadcast TV. There are a number of factors to consider.

the American network, while not ESPN, CBS, etc...is not "locally broadcast TV" It actually has a decent market penetration in the southeast.

I have dissed Robert Brown earlier this season and I am happy to retract the negatives I said earlier about him being a "disappointment" Haase said in his post-game that he has been encouraging RB to let the game come to him, and it is. The improvement is showing up on the scoreboard.

Whenever the Blazers play and whoever they line up against is when you should be @ Bartow Arena. Check the schedule and work around it.

All I know is when you advertise that you will stream the game on your website, you should do so. A game that is a week old should not still be listed as "upcoming". If ASN is not going to stream games, then All-Access should stream the in-house video like they do for non-televised games. I emailed ASN twice and have not heard anything back. It may not be local Tv, but it sure isn't a well run company.

Yep. Don't advertise the damn game if you aren't going to broadcast it.
