I have noticed that in the last 10 or so days there have been at least 4-5 earthquakes in the 4.0ish range. What is the history of earthquakes in Oklahoma? Has it always been that active or is this a new trend?

I'm not from Oklahoma, but I'm almost certain that it's always been that active, but maybe a little more in recent years than in the past.
