Couldn't get a decent last shot off. Tough way to lose a close game. But, good showing I think after the loss to ULL.

Up yours. Didn't see another thread. No need to be a d#$% because your pissed at the loss. I thought they showed a lot of heart coming back from 10 down on the road at Syracuse. Even if they are not as good as they have been in the past, it is still Syracuse.

Syracuse isn't a quality team this year - their media and fans have been ripping their efforts apart on the syracuse newspaper website.

Impressive even if it was a loss. As a Hoops conference I think CUSA is better than when it was Memphis and the 11 Dwarfs.

Never heard of anyone being upset losing @ Syracuse by 2, clearly you Tech folks have a team that can and probably will make noise in CUSA again this season. GL Dawgs'.

Anything short of the NCAA tourney will be a disappointment for us this year. We've averaged 28 wins the past two years and haven't gotten in. We know these are the games we need to win to have a shot at an at-large bid. All it takes is one slip up in the conference tourney and it's over.

Even though the Orange aren't up to the normal level, at least so far, it is still difficult to go into the Carrier Dome and get a win. You have to be not too upset with this loss, I think.

Shame CUSA teams just can't seem to close out close games against good teams this year.

La Tech loses to Cuse by 2, Charlotte loses to Miami by 3, and Marshall loses to WVU by 2. Those three wins would have been really great for the conference.

ACC refs are the worst.

I looked at the games these refs called last year...and they don't look to be ACC refs. Was there an announcement saying they were? BTW, the OTB call on Cuse's McCullough was ridiculous at the end. But...I still can't believe our PG didn't travel on that play near half court when he batted the ball to himself.

PFs were 18-17...for a team that presses a lot...I would say the refs called a pretty loose game which favored LaTech.

With how they have played so far this year...I would agree with that. Your pressing exposed our FR PG who is a human TO machine. It was a good game for him though to get ready for Louisville. I think your coach had them well prepared...your team has the potential to be trouble for a higher seeded team the first round in the NCAAs.

I don't think Tech is a tournament team this year. We don't rebound very well and we don't shoot free throws very well. About all we do well is pressure defense. Our schedule is so weak that we would have to win the CUSA tournament to get in and I don't see that happening.
