I wonder why Andre Brown isn't playing at all?
Jerron Washington has played a few minutes, but Andre isn't getting near the court. I don't know if he's still eligible to redshirt, but it's strange to me to bring a guy in as a juco, and then not play him at all. He was reputed to be a pretty good rebounder. I guess that's why I pay money to get in the arena and Steve gets paid to get in.
Anyone have any information on Andre Brown's situation?04-cheers

I know he played a minute or so in one game, but maybe that was our exhibition game, and maybe that doesn't count against redshirting. If someone talks to Steve, Joe or one of the coaches, ask them.

Funny. You'd think a guy that averaged 4 points a game would get more playing time. Kidding of course, but we couldn't have thought either Brown or Washington would bring anything to the table at the D-1 level

Averaged 7.9 a game and 6.6 rebounds. Adequate if not spectacular. Probably not good enough for this level of D1. Maybe he'll prove us wrong.04-cheers

Remember, he was recruited before we signed Roger Woods. I can understand his signing more than I can Washington. When we signed Brown we were concerned about rebounding, but had Stetson as a defensive stopper. So there was logic for Brown, but less for Washington. Now Stetson is redshirted and we signed Woods, so Washington is the player who fills more of a need.
