I'm not arguing against it, but who would we get. Serious question?

Don't ya'll come on here and say Bruce Pearl either because that ship has sailed and been struck by an iceberg.

It would be silly to fire him tomorrow. However, after the year is over there are plenty of young coaches that Memphis could get. At this point, all you need is an average coach for an upgrade...

So do you have the point yet? Or are you still in support of this clown?

Any decision to terminate Pastner will occur at the conclusion of this season. He will not be sacked during the season.

RE: FIRE JP NOW
He doesn't have a buyout clause in his contract. Thus we would be on the books for the entire remainder of his contract. The best scenario is we do well and someone offers him a coaching job somewhere else. He is not going anywhere due to the contractual circumstances this year.

If only he had went to USC......

Trust me, no other school wants him. Man we are stupid for giving him that contract.

RE: FIRE JP NOW
sure go ahead.
Cal has already said he'll take him back.
Then Cal will send him down here to recruit our 4 & 5* players.
Pure genius.

Contracts are always negotiable... And Memphis would never have to make up his full contract, as another school will hire him in some capacity and at worst Memphis would be responsible for the difference in the salaries.

Anyone arguing now?

I said the same thing about 3 years ago too. Why? Because by then it was obvious to me Josh didn’t get it, and was never going to get it. Not only has he NOT gotten any better, he’s worse. #trainwreck.

Fire him tomorrow and let Papa Lawson finish the season.
