Yes. This is an overly simplistic solution
We will return to greatness under coach pastner.
Have patience and keep the faith.

I can't fault your positivity. We need more like you.

How many years of his contract are you personally gonna pick up the tab for?

.

I got five on it!
Which should be about all JP is worth as a D1 coach

I really hope you're right. However, after years of thinking Pastner would grow into a great coach and team leader, I no longer believe he will (or can). He's a great recruiter and a really great representative for Memphis - just not a great high D1 BB head coach. There's no shame in Pastner recognizing this - Muschamp was not a great head coach at Florida but will be a very good defensive coordinator.

Really? Where are the recruits coming from. Other than Will Barton and Shaq, who outside Memphis has he recruited that's worth a damn. Look at what he's recruited for this years team. Look I support the players every game, go to all home games. But to say he's a great recruiter is over played and over blown. The man is a clown and a joke of a coach. Hard to watch his teams and hard to watch him on the sideline acting like the clown of a coach he is. Hopefully this will be his last year. Fan apathy is already starting to take effect.

josh was fortunate Memphis had a few strong high school classes early in his tenure. If not he'd probably would have been gone already.

Every single Memphis coach with the exception of Cal was lucky; correct?
