RE: WTF has Pastner done to the basketball program???
The dude has lost this team, u can see it on the floor and on the bench no heart, no fight. The dude was a recruiter and recruited well at the start, but cant seem to bring out the best in his players. Now the word is out he cant take them to the next level, bye bye recruiting. All u have to do is look at the class he just brought in. BTW Tarik Black playing for the rockets is a bad dream for josh. Sorry to rant but change has gotta be made. Paging Kara Lawson!!!

The espn announcer, Kara Lawson, get's on my every last nerve.

She's still better than josh.

She's probably not a millionaire though.

Depends on what they have paid her the last 11 years in WNBA.

Brutal pic!

It is sad - I was just noticing that the facilities have never looked better or more big-time on TV. Too bad the product on the court can't match them.

Ditto beautiful facilities

Bad years happens. They really do happen, even to other teams from time to time. I know, I know...you don't believe it. But it does. If you follow the sport you will know this. If you just like to cry...you don't.

On the other hand it doesn't mean we have to like it. If the program is in the tank at the end of the year, then The Tigers will do what all the other schools do. Hire a new coach.

He has run the program into the ground. Plain And Simple. Double digit losses at home to unranked opponents shouldn't occur. Pitiful.

I wouldn't mind the bad years. Teams are always going to be rebuilding every now and them. And even when losing, there's some satisfaction watching young players learning the ropes, developing, and growing into their roles during the season.

But this rebuilding year doesn't show anything at all. What is the team actually learning to do? There's no evidence of the team running much in the way of organized defense or offense, or learning any sort of strategy--there's nothing there for them to learn it seems, unless they learn from the opposing team.

I'm beginning to think the guards the last couple of years were more likely than not the real coaches and teachers of the team, not Pastner.

To be fair that pic was late in the game but folks were starting to leave at the 10 minute mark.
