Ready for some hoops
I am ready for some consistent NIU basketball. Seems like much more time off this year than in the past. Not sure this true, but it sure seems tat way.

Get some games stacked together I think this team will be really fun to watch once in rhythm. We have not seen that team yet with games so far apart.

Begins tonight with a momentum win against EIU.

Go Huskies!

I feel like we've barely played any games so far while i see a bunch of other schools have played more than us. Maybe i just don't follow college bball that much and that's not the case.

Its definitely been a light schedule, NIU is probably in the 90th percentile in terms of fewest games played. A nice cluster of games here before a week off for Christmas, and then it gets regular the rest of the year. I don't really mind it as long as you are playing that more regular schedule heading into conference play.

This is a pretty big game tonight in my opinion.

Only 2 other teams in the country have played only 5 games (UNC-Wilmington and Houston). They both play their 6th game tomorrow.

If you don't count the exhibition, it looks like Ohio has played only 5 too.

The OVC is hosting it, I think MD put up a helpful link in the prediction thread.
