Blaming the media works for the conservative right. Alabama is the most conservative state in the country. Sounds like a valid plan when you can't defend the actual facts of your policy.

As a conservative there is nothing that the media could say to sway my opinion of Watts.

Probably, one attacks the media in order to deflect some of the incoming fire. It is also used when one is losing badly or when the facts starting unravel. It can be a useful tactic if one has lied in public to try to create doubt or reinforce the lie.

I haven't been to these meetings but when there is a q&a has someone taken him to task for the bull**** report with made up numbers? Taken him to task for lack of due diligence or analyzing alternatives?

GSA says there will be independent review of the financial data. Of course if Watts or the BOT are involved in selecting the independent consultant then I have little faith in their conclusions.

The same media that ran that news article in Sunday's paper? Really? And he says football's not coming back, eh? Let's hope the same can be said for him, & very, very soon.

Defiance is also a tell-tale sign of the denial & evil that lurks within.

I've seen "lame duck" politicians do this often, they know their time's about to run out in power and position, so they do as much damage as they possibly can between now and their last day if office, don't take your eyes off of Watts, he's going to do the exact same thing between now and whatever day in January.

What we have here is an example of a buck private trying to understand the battle plans of the joint chiefs of staff. She will make someone an excellent flunky one day. My advise to her is move over honey because an army of thousands of pi$$ed off people are coming after this .

For some reason, Watts in that statement reminds me of the role played by Marshal Petain in France after the German invasion killed the nation. He might as well have said "The Germans (system BOT) will now allow us to govern together what is left of what was a great nation (undergrad UAB)".

If so, where is a written summary of how our school of business debunked this report? I would love to see that.

Im still surprised to have not seen an official and numerical quality assessment on the Carr report, from both a pro Blazer source and a neutral source. There was a national article recently but it was not a particularly rigorous analysis.
