MyBB How to keep UAB basketball in CUSA..
What if CUSA hires Ray Watts as Commish to keep UAB?

Seriously, I am thankful to Banowsky for everything he's done for ODU, but this conference can probably become a basketball power if we reallocate our resources under the Ray Watts plan.

Imagine all that extra money to just spend on hoops, for Charlotte, WKU, UTEP, etc.. If you walk the Way of the Dragon, we will no longer be a 1 bid league.

Watts understands the pooling of resources to compete in your CHOSEN sports at the HIGHEST LEVEL.

As an ODU fan, I want to see The Big Blue Beast in the NCAAs again. I wonder if that guy can get the job done.

He certainly isn't scared to make a move, even when its unpopular. That's the sign of all great leaders. 07-coffee3

What? We can't have an opinion now?

I like the guy. He wants to turn a profit, and create a basketball juggernaut.

So. First of all, I don't believe that you're an ODU fan. If you were, you'd realize how much football has done to help the University in the 5 short seasons we've played it. Getting rid of it would be shooting ourselves in the foot.

Secondly, shut up. You stupid troll. Probably a JMU or VCU fan. Yes, we understand you finally know how to use the internet, and you even got your mom to check your spelling. Good for you, now go back to your room.

This guy is a douche. I'd argue the opposite - drop basketball and reallocate to football! ODU is now a football school, whether this guy likes it or not. To posture as if the fanbase wants anything different is ludicrous. We've had 36 straight sellouts in football. The men's basketball team can't get 2 straight sellouts in a venue with less than half the capacity. The market has spoken - this guy is a tool!

I called it from his first post...

He's a troll. Anyone that would suggest the hiring of Ray Watts is being pretty obvious.

Strait sellouts? Is that like the school forced the fans to go to the games? You need spell check.

Never mind, spell check wouldn't have helped because strait IS a correct spelling...for something else.

He is not an ODU fan and I have seen him post about JMU many times. He should be ignored just like JMU is ignored by the entire country. By the way, for our CUSA mates, JMU stands for James Madison University. They are located in the middle of nowhere just off I-81... now you know.
