Purdue, Illinois, Rutgers (oh, wait... :) ). He's a solid recruiter in Jersey and Florida...many major programs had him as a coordinator...he has major HC experience (even NFL). Hate to see him go to the ACC.
If Cryst goes to Wisconsin...IMO Pitt should look at him and Bo Pelini along with Narduzzi...
I think that if Chryst goes back to Whiskey, Pitt probably looks at former Penn State DC/Current WVU assistant, Tom Bradley.
Tom Bradley...the 35 Year Assistant Coach...Wow.....
Bradley was exceptional loyal to Joe Paterno and PSU. He was probably going to be the successor until the scandal hit.
It was pretty well known that Bradley was waiting on the PSU job and was the "heir apparent" for JoePa. Then the scandal broke and everyone connected to the PSU FB program...including Greg Schiano, FWIW...became "radioactive" to anything Penn State. Bradley spent a couple years away from FB before having to take a lower-level assistant job at WVU. I attribute a large measure of WVU's defensive improvement this season to Bradley.
But hey... I could be wrong. Time will tell.

He's getting $600K a year for that "lower-level assistant job". Somebody must think he's a good coach.

Its this basically. Wisconsin State Law apparently requires a 5 business day minimum posting and a minimum of 3 interviewed candidates before making a hire. Schiano is basically just doing Alvarez a favor here. Would not be shocked to see Schiano at Pitt though.

Schiano did not become radioactive as it pertained to Penn State or College Football because of the Penn State stuff. Schiano is better known for Miami, Rutgers and the Bucs. He is radioactive on the NFL level to some extent.

You may be right about Schiano at Pitt. It would explain why he would help expedite the process.
