Exclamation This team has been great fun this season
I don't where to start...so I will just ramble a bit

1. It starts with the University and coaching. Clearly, the increased commitment to football is showing. I could not ask more from an AD or head coaching staff.

2. Paxton Lynch...maybe not his greatest day today, but where would we be without him this season. I worried about the decision to play him last season, but that is why I'm not the coach. I believe he will make national news by his senior year.

3. Hayes...how much heart does this guy have. Walking on twice. I really became a fan as the season went on. Did he make it to 1,000 yards today? I hope so.

4. Cross...damn son, what is there to say. You should be the poster boy for toughness.

5. All the WR's. I rarely say anything negative on here about the team or staff. But, I did say this group played scared against Old Miss. That ended after that game. The entire corps got better as the season went on and Malone was the hero of today's game.

6. The lines are where all football games are won or lost and Memphis is no exception. There were times today when Lynch could have taken a nap before throwing the ball and defensive line can just take over games. Great trench work on both sides.

7. Jackson Dillon...maybe it just me, but I noticed this guy all year. Maybe not the flashiest guy on the field, but very solid. I look forward to his future.

8. Tank...curious to where he will be next season. I believe he will make the next step. Big hitter.

9. Bobby and the secondary. Again, better as the year went on. Not sure what happened today, but there when we needed it at the end. Great job.

10. Last but not least is special teams. Jake Elliott will kick on Sunday's unless something unforeseen happens. I don't know about you but I really like the two punter system. Most effective.

Well, that's enough from me. I am just really excited over this win, so forgive the ramblings. Now, it's on with basketball season. If they wear Tiger Blue...then I support them. Merry Christmas Tiger fans...I got my gift today.

This team took on the personality of their coach. Simple as that. Kudos to everyone from Fuente on down.

10-3 (7-1) (AAC Co-Champs and Miami Beach Bowl Champs)

Lost @ UCLA by 7.
Lost @ Ole Miss by 21 but they scored 2 late touchdowns.
Lost to Houston by 4.

I love the 10 wins, but I also love the toughness in those losses.

I was watching the BYU game thinking damn, 5 turnovers Paxton had 4 of those. This is just like the Houston game. I think that game and that experience is what helped Paxton and the Tigers make that last drive to tie the game.

The Tigers also showed toughness in both overtimes. Those loses showed us a few things.

1. We can hang with anybody.
2. We can beat anybody.
3. We learned how to stay calm under pressure.

I'm so proud of this team.
