Impressive. Tulsa will return to there winning ways under this guy. Impressed at Tulsa for opening there checkbook. His hire could not have been cheap.

That sounds like a really good hire! The offenses in this league are ridiculous.

I expect Montgomery's staff will have to do a lot of over recruiting to properly implement the current Baylor system. Don't think Tulsa currently has a QB that can run that type of offense. I could be wrong but don't think I am.

Wow, sounds like a good fit. Private school background, high octane offense. Good luck guys.

Ya, their offense changed quite a bit from RGIII to Petty. Honestly, their offense with Petty doesn't look all that different from ours this year. They run the same formations. I just think the play calls will be better, the execution will be better, and we'll find more guys in space.

Also we'll have better recruits. It's hard to recruit worse than Blankenship did.

I just hope Montgomery brings in someone that knows a thing or two about getting the most out of a defense. I don't want a bunch of shootouts in what's going to be a high octane AAC West Division.

I bet Burgess has the pedigree to run that system, assuming his recent issue is resolved. IMO a coaching change couldn't come at a better time for a highly touted QB who got himself into some trouble.

disagree, Evans struggles making quick decisions and going through progressions of more than 3 targets at a time.

(RS) Fr Jabe Burgess is a much more cerebral and mechanically sound QB.

Definitely won't hurt - if he comes in and wins some games and scores a lot of points, the fans will come.

He was in my top 3. If we don't get Herman or Leach now, in all probability, Tulsa will have outdone us.

Thanks for posting, Kronke. Obviously, you think he'll be a good head coach. Do you think he's a good recruiter as well as a good coach ?

Since 80% of the WRs are targeted pre-snap it is a very friendly passing offense...especially if u are accurate.

Good hire for Tulsa. Fuente, Montgomery, Morris--the AAC west is gong to make it tough for AAC defensive coordinators. And don't forget you will also have to deal with Navy once a year with that friggin triple-option. The west should be interesting.
