'Bama and Ore afraid of Big 12?
This is one angle I haven't heard mentioned. Did SEC and Pac 12 lobby to get ZSU included b/c they felt TCU and Baylor were better?

Oregon has limited defense, and 'Bama's isn't fast enough to keep up w/ TCU's offense. 'Bama can't win that shoot out.

No, B12 screwed themselves by declaring co-Champions. They used the old BCS rankings and here is what it came out as. Why I think the committee is a waste of time and they should use the Old BCS rankings instead.

1. Alabama 0.9708

2. Florida State 0.9594

3. Oregon 0.9448

4. Ohio State 0.8595

5. TCU 0.8449

6. Baylor 0.8269

What's with calling Ohio State "ZSU" ? Is that something new?

TCU has more team speed than Alabama?

That's a good joke.

If UCF can beat Baylor I'm pretty sure Alabama nor Oregon isn't afraid of them.

Way to get a plug in there for your team.

You should bet everything you own on TCU -6 over miss if you believe this

I doubt anyone believes it, considering that Oregon's D completely shut down Arizona last week, and Alabama scored 55 on Auburn.

They need to let Las Vegas pick the top 4. They don't play favorites. Could care less how big or small a school is or where it's located.

People will say anything and make any excuse. Not surprising to see it coming from an Ohio native that hates Ohio State.

I hope Alabama looks past Ohio State in the same manner as so many others are.

Ohio State would get railroaded by TCU. But to the above point, it will be just like Iowa State looking past Iowa, am I right?

That is a fact! TCU has been one of the fastest football teams over the past 15 years than anyone in the country. Both them and Baylor have have near world class athlete at the skill positions for years!

RE: 'Bama and Ore afraid of Big 12?
There were 3 teams that were going to get bids. FSU, Ala, and Ore. There were 3 teams fighting for the last slot. Ohio State's record was slightly better than TCU's and Baylors. And the tie goes to the bigger program. Which isn't fair, but there's a pecking order in the P5 too. Either way, Its not like TCU or Baylor can argue that they got jobbed. They just need to look at their OOC schedule to see why they're not in the playoffs. OSU could have been left out for the same reason. TCU has 2 wins over teams ranked in the top 25 (both at home). Baylor has two (both at home). OSU? Has three (none at home)

Someone had to get that last slot. OSU's body of work was slightly better. That pasting of Wisconsin probably sealed the deal.

Fast but undersized as a design to play against the spread. It would have been nice to see how TCU's D held up against Bama's country cornfed O-line.

Yeah we know. UCF heard all about how Baylor was a team of superhuman track stars. They were so fast they were gonna score before the kickoff, during the kickoff, and after the kickoff. We all saw how that worked out. Turns out UCF had all the speed at the skill positions. (This response should have been directed at geauxcajuns).
