Quote:The University of South Alabama's endowment and other investments had a strong performance over the last fiscal year, showing a 10.43 percent gain, USA's Board of Trustees learned in its Dec. 5 meeting.

That rate of return, compared to a benchmark of 8.31 percent, gave USA a ranking of 80th out of 812 of all public universities, according to the National Association of College and University Business Officers. The university's total endowment outperformed the benchmark by 2.12 percent.

•1,107 new graduate students
•4,457 new students

uta has around 34,000. has an estimated $13Billion with a B financial impact on the dallas/ft. worth metro area. about 26,000 under grads and about 8,000 grad students. over 3,000 international students. I think we graduate over 4,000 each semester and about 100 phd's. there are about 150,000 alumni in the north texas area..probably the largest school at uta is the school of nursing with over 6,000 students but the school of architecture and the school of engineering are both pretty large.

That's not their only endowment. USA's total endowments total over 500 million.
