Anderson left because of Alvarez. The guy was successful. Wisconsin is a better job than Oregon St, its not even close. You can't compare Madison to Corvallis.

Lol, money aside, you really think Madison WI is a more desirable place to live than Corvallis OR? Madison is great if you like to drink but what else is there?

Not only is Madison a better place to live than Corvallis, it annually ranks at or near the top of best places in the country to live in. Google search it and see a bunch of different rankings with Madison ranked highly.

This is what's wrong with college football (and basketball). Not to mention, if this was an issue for you as a coach or part of your recruiting philosophy, wouldn't you ask a question about this BEFORE taking the job. The guy seems like a tool to me.
