T-shirt company prosecuted for not making 'gay' apparel
Here we go again, a group of people who ***** and moan that they're not allowed to do what they want are bitching and moaning when other people want to do what they want.

Quote:A Kentucky clothing company that refused to produce T-shirts for a “gay”-pride festival because of the owner’s Christian beliefs is appealing a state Human Rights Commission’s ruling of “unlawful discrimination.”

Blaine Adamson, owner of Hands On Originals in Lexington, has employed and served homosexuals, but he refused a request by the local Gay and Lesbian Services Organization to promote messages that violate his beliefs.

“A book editor or ghostwriter could be forced to write a book advocating messages they find contrary to their convictions based on this ruling,” ADF Senior Legal Counsel Jim Campbell said. “The litmus test now seems to be: Does the order arguably implicate a protected class or a protected characteristic? If it does, then the logic of it … would require every business that promotes messages and ideas to go against their beliefs.

“This would refer to every business, not just printers, but marketers, editors, writers and speechwriters, political groups and others that help customers endorse their brand and expression could be forced to participate in printing something if that object arguably implicated a protected class.”

More

And how about this gem:

Quote:The ACLU argued before Administrative Law Judge Robert Spencer in 2013 that while the government had the right to force a Christian to use his artistic talents to design a homosexual wedding cake, the standard should not be applied to other groups – such as asking a Muslim baker to make a cake criticizing his faith.

I think the current generation takes the Christmas lyrics "Don we now our gay apparel" to an extreme. :)

Sorry could resist.

I would have baked this cake, after they paid me:

And I would have printed these t-shirts, after they paid me:

If they didn't like my products, they could go elsewhere.

He should not be sued over it. That is ridiculous. That being said, I think he's crazy for turning down any business.

I find it amazing that 1.6% of the people keep finding stores that don't want their business. Don't you?

I did what they wanted, against my will. Either they accept it or take their loss and go elsewhere. I wouldn't find an anti-religious bakery to bake me a religious cake. Not my fault they're retards. 03-wink

There are plenty of places that would honor the wishes of a gay couple. Finding the ones that refuse service to them are the ones they target so they can make a case. That's what he's saying.

You would if you didn't really care about the cake in the first place and were just trying to be an a$$ and make a political point. THAT is what these folks do.

I'd make the shirt, accidentally make a misspelling, and through "delays" only be able to deliver the shirts the day after the festival.

No, I wouldn't. But I would think it at night after cashing their check.

Just by a minority of folks. In reality, you represent most the nation.

That's correct. Activists hate people like me.

Wrong!

Wrong!

Wrong!

You are not feared.

You are not despised.

You are where the money is.......

That is why you are being targeted from left, right and center.
