Texas, indeed, consumes more electricity than any other state, but the EPA would demand that Texas reduce CO2 by more than twice its commensurate share.

Punishing success as usual. If it weren't for the job creation going on in Texas, the National numbers would be in the tank. Can't recall the #'s exactly, and not gonna go look it up, but aside from Texas' numbers it's pretty pathetic. 1 of 4(?) Something like that.

The Feds have been after Texas for a while. Our hurricanes are ignored and the EPA has it in for us.

It's fun when Gov Perry raises his middle finger to Washington. That's probably what kept him in office for 15 years.

Damn, are there not term limits in TX? In NC our governors can only serve two consecutive terms.
