Ouch...

UTSA runs the gauntlet again. The road games are going to be brutal, but I think you could steal one of the home games.

Tough schedule no doubt but if we can steal a win against K State or perhaps Colorado St...boom!

Main thing is to stay healthy for our annual whooping of North Texas 05-stirthepot

shouldn't be too hard...ugh...

crappy home scheduling again...second time in 3 years that we only have 5 home games...

Well at least you get to go beat on SMU before they've fully recovered from the June Jones era.

I wish WKU had more then 5 home games next season....Might be time for WKU fans to actually travel next season and go to Nashville and Bloomington in droves...Could be a very special season for us!

Southern Miss has:

at Texas State
TBA (FCS school of some sort)

9 of 11 starters returning on offense. 5 of 11 starters returning on defense.

Only 5 home games sucks bad but even so there are 2-3 winnable games in there. Tennessee is beatable.

God...UTEP's OOC sucks. What is Bob Stull thinking? The ONLY home OOC game is against...Incarnate Word? That should sell out. I'd better get my tix now. We only have 5 home games all season. What a bonehead.

Early in the season this year, I would have said that Ga St. is probably the only possible D1 win we have next year, but with UTSA shitting the bed this year, and losing a huge number of players, that might be another winnable game.

I still don't see more than 3 wins in our schedule next year though and less is probably likely. I wouldn't be shocked if Presby is the only win we have unless we get lucky and bring in some great JuCos in the coming months.
Lambert has stated Marshall is coming to Charlotte in 2015.

Western's biggest problem is the defense. You almost need a change in staff/philosophies otherwise you're not likely to see a signficant improvement. But trying to outscore everyone can be fun.

Middle Tennessee's biggest problem is our coaching staff isn't maximizing the most out of our players. On paper we have an outstanding team. And next year with the QB having a full year under his belt and returning a boat load of experienced players we should again have a really, really good team on paper. The question is whether we're going to bring in some new coaches that are going to maximize talent instead of wasting it.

If you're ODU, Charlotte, FIU and FAU you have to be looking up at these three teams going WTF which collectively have a long way to go to catch up. And yest I know FIU upset us, but that's really what I'm talking about with our staff.

Any of us three can win the league next year, but we all face some signficant challenges. The one that overcomes those challenges comes out of the east.

The last time we had to do that was when Chad Pennington graduated...the next season, there was some obscure guy named Byron Leftwich that took over... We'll be fine..

FIU, FAU are good teams that just couldn't finish this season and they have some real good players. For ODU we lose TH, Vaughn our best WR and couple of good players on OL and DL and we return the rest. If the QB's we have are any good and if the highly touted redshirt players we will have on the field are half good as they are advertised we will do just like this season if not any good although we may not pull a RICE or Tech next year. Charlotte is an unknown to me.

I agree that 1-10 is a huge possibility and I've made peace with that.

The schedule should never be made so you hope for 1 win.... nor should it be made like ours was this season either. But that schedule is the other extreme for a new program losing basically all its starters.

Gonna be an interesting season. I wont made too much of a prediction before spring ball sheds some light on the QB position and D line.

Yea, I'm very interested to see how we do next yr. Like last yr, I'm not expecting much. Supposedly this class is better than the very first one so we'll see. I honestly don't see us winning any of those OOC games.
