In hindsight that was a brutal trip. Think we left Thursday night, drove all night, got into Mobile about 2:00 PM on Friday. Was unseasonably cold down the entire trip too. Went to Toomey's on Friday to get Mardi Gras beads and then off to the parade Friday night. Then up early Saturday to get tailgating supplies and then off to the Stadium. Returned home Sunday in one long drive. Is that what you recall too UT1. Could have used another day that's for sure.

Still, everyone still had a really good time. Whooped up on UTEP to end Bruce's career on a high note.

That's exactly what I remember, great time. Best bowl game ever!!!
