Anyone watching Master Chef Jr?
An 11 year old boy from Memphis is one of the the final two. These kids cook some incredible stuff. The final is next Tuesday on Fox at 7 PM CST.

These kids as young as 8 years of age are cooking things worthy of being served in restaurants with Mercedes ratings. Most good chefs have been in training almost as long as some of these kids have been alive. Some of these kids will be rock star chefs in the near future.

I have a bunch recorded and have seen a couple. It's hard to see the kids take the criticism when a dish didn't turnout as they had hoped but the judges go really easy on them unlike when the adults are on there.

The food these kids turn out is unreal.

Michelin, you mean? The show is amazing, though.

It's great for ramsay because he has a rep for being a total jerk sometimes, but he really is very sweet with the kids.

I haven't watched it, but I'm going to DVR the finale - I've read the kids' blog and have been very impressed with him - I hope he does well!!

I have seen a couple of the episodes, but only bits of it. These kids really know how to cook, which is amazing for that age. I saw one of the early episodes, and one girl was 8 years old and was a very good cook.

That Cinque Formaggio pizza is pretty special.

Had their swordfish and met their chef one night a few weeks ago - he is super young but very talented.

Their charcuterie plate is over the top good - even included some molecular gastronomy items on it that the chef was experimenting with on it.

RE: Anyone watching Master Chef Jr?
I literally screamed when Logan won. Wish I'd gone down to Strano to watch. Not only is the kid an amazing cook, but he was actually enjoyable to watch. Seems like a really nice kid, unlike the kid he beat who seemed like a whiny punk. My favorite thing about Logan though was how much he talked about Memphis on the show. Even at such a young age you can tell the city means a ton to him and he understood the importance of representing it well on a national stage.
