OT: Ennis on ESPN
Watching Ennis on ESPN against Illinois. Leading scorer for nova this year and he's confirming that he would've been the best player of Braun's tenure (yes better than arsalan). I still don't think he will get a shot in the NBA like he thought when he left but I think he will make some good money in Europe the next few seasons.

I am having trouble understanding why a guy would think that he might get a better shot at the NBA somewhere other than Rice. Basketball is a sport where no matter how bad your team is, scouts can still see your level of talent as a player.

+1

Damion Lillard was a four year player at Weber State. Steph Curry at Davidson.

Especially as a point guard, willing a less talented team to overachieve can get you more recognition at a mid major than it might at a traditional power.

I wonder if Lillard and Curry would have been as good so quickly if they went to Arizona or North Carolina.

Since it's a discussion board, how about discussing if Ennis had stayed here, what difference would it have meant to Rice, and where do you think we'd have been with him last season (record) and would Rhoades be here now?

I haven't seen 'nova play so I'll defer.
