OT-Tennessee replaces UAB for 2015 opening game
The Vols have replaced UAB with BGSUcks. The game is to be September 5th in Nashville where the UT-UAB game was to be played.

RE: OT-Tennessee replaces UAB for 2015 opening game
My predictions for bgSUCKS next year:

0-4 in OOC (@ Purdue, @ Maryland, @ Tennessee, vs. Memphis)
4-4 in the MAC...which will win them the division because the east is so weak.
Followed up by an @$$-whooping by UT in the MACC.

RE: OT-Tennessee replaces UAB for 2015 opening game
Nice get for them Falcons, I would have liked to have seen Toledo get a quality opponent like that. So far, we have Iowa St. and Arkansas stAte for next season. I would imagine we get an FCS opponent at home and another opponent on the road since ISU & ASU are home games. That would make 3 home OOC games (if we do get that FCS opponent, those games are always home). I hope we can get a quality, yet winnable P5 opponent for our final OOC game....Illinois, hmm any open dates??

Is this set in stone? I was just viewing the utrockets.com future schedule page and they only listed ISU & stAte for 2015.

Man, I can't even find the futures schedule page. The only way I know how to find it is by going to the most recent schedule news release and find the link in the story.

According to local TV news, bgsucks will get $1.2 million for the game. I am a little jealous.

Don't worry. The MAC offices will fix this obvious blunder by scheduling 5 of our conference games on the road. And our three home conference games in November. On Tuesday nights.

I had to google search 'University of Toledo football future schedules'

Couldn't find it by just going to the site.

RE: OT-Tennessee replaces UAB for 2015 opening game
Nice pickup for BGSU, wish UT would do this, although have a feeling our fans would **** themselves with an OOC record of 0-4 every year. Do remember in late 70's though when Bobby Bowden took FSU on the road for almost the whole season to start building schedule and program. Seemed to work back then. 8-4 treating us good this year. I feel people worried too much about OOC record when at MAC level winning conference championship going 8-4 or 9-3 will get good bowl and help in recruiting. going 7-5 and 8-4 and not winning MAC not up to what I want out of UT.
