Way OT: Guy volunteers to be eaten by an Anaconda
Was this done for the love of science or for tv ratings?

Will the Anaconda still want him if he don't got buns?

What actually happened during those 2 hours then?

Honestly I'd say that's animal cruelty too. Yes, an anaconda can probably handle eating a human, but PULLING him out after he's swallowed could hurt the anaconda.

Didn't watch it. Dumb thing from the start. People need to stop watching crap like this and maybe they will stop airing them

Seems like Discovery isn't doing too well when they need to air shows like this and other shows that are about mermaids and bigfoot

Honestly I'd say that's animal cruelty too. Yes, an anaconda can probably handle eating a human, but PULLING him out after he's swallowed could hurt the anaconda.

They did a long drawn out process of talking about them, then hunting down one, then explaining the suit... finally they cover him in pigs blood and "feed" him to the snake who basically tries to squeeze him to death but never attempts to eat him...which I kinda thought he wouldnt since anacondas usually need to feel the heartbeat end before consuming.

as far as cruelty... Anacondas usually spit up what they ingest and then re-consume. They showed one spit up a whole deer... I was eating at that moment... wasnt the greatest dinner show.

Following the twitter link in the article you can find out he's environmentalist and an author. Wasn't expecting that at all.
