After comparing this year to last, I'm thinking that I may have mistakenly given Matthews too much credit for last year's offense. Welcome back Coach Vincent.

This SI report is a little premature. He has not been hired as of this morning. However, he did amazing work with Methany as our QB coach, and has a very good offense at UAB. I like it.

I was disappointed when Grass didn't come with Clark but Vincent surprised me and did a very good job.

Bryant Vincent is as big reason as Bill Clark for the UAB turnaround. He will be a successful head coach one day.

This guy should be a welcomed replacement for the departed Matthews and has the potential of being even a better OC after working with Coach Bill Clark at UAB.

He was at USA the past three years before joining Clark at UAB. He can coach and it appears that he was a bigger part of our offense than we thought considering our dropoff in production this year.

That's funny. Bill Clark couldn't have taught Bryant Vincent a thing about running an offense he didn't already know. Bill Clark is good at coaching defensive front sevens, but he's an even better CEO. He knew to give Vincent the offense and stay out of the way.
