These events really make the bowl experience. I highly suggest heading downtown for lunch Saturday then spending the afternoon in the parks, museums and bars. Make sure your kids bring back packs or bags for the parade. They will catch a ton of beads, footballs and moon pies. The parade wraps around downtown so just find a spot along the barricades in front of the hotels or parks.

I still cringe when I even think about that play and replay.

Don't golf and I'm thinking a bit further from the dock.
Only a golfer would consider that as time communing with nature. lol

But it's true. When I golf I spend a lot of time in the woods and ponds.

I know who to invite on my next golf trip. My old boss who is pretty good was talking about a course near Little Rock, I said I hate it because I always get in the chiggers, he said he'd never gotten chiggers there. I told him I use a different part of the course.

Went to Bellingrath Gardens, for their Holiday light show. Simply Amazing!!! Never seen more lights, well done, with different themes, some set to music. Beautiful grounds, Great weather. Got to check out the house as well.
Also got to check out a drive thru light display, put on by the Salvation Army at Hank Aaron baseball stadium, pretty neat.
USS Alabama was awesome!!!

Hank Aaron lights awesome. I think tonight is last night. USS Alabama is worth two hours plus it takes. If you cant climb ladders you will be limited. Brick Pit for barbacue and Callaghans Irish Social Club are two must stop places if you like local places. They were both amazing.

Events in Mobile!!!!!
Smallest parade crowd I've seen. Of course in my group of five I'm the only one who went and I left early.
