Patterson had the biggest differential in games won. TCU was 4-8 last year and is currently 11-1. Fuente was second with 6 games.

For some reason I think Meyer will probably get the award. His record is the same as last year at this time but he will get some votes because he had to use 3 different qb's this year.

Tommy West had to go thru 3 qbs one year. He didn't get a CUSA COY for getting us bowl eligible that year.

Agree. No coach but Fuente took a multi-year national laughing-stock of a program and won a conference championship (or share of) in only two years. It's not even close, IMO, who the trophy should go to. However, it will probably go to one of the P5 coaches, since that's where the money is.

I have been utterly amazed at how Fuente has turned the program around so quickly. Like everyone else, I just hope we can hang on to him for a few seasons.

Technically it was 2 QB's and a WR and we had a pretty good running back that year.

He didn't Maurice Avery did. He should have made him the quarterback from the beginning. The OLine was terrible, that's why the CUSA ate up our QBs. Avery would have been more mobile that the others and would not have been a sitting target.
