They predict Utah St to blow out UTEP. I certainly hope their predictions are as garbage as their overall web site. I'd like to see UTEP win a bowl game in my lifetime. I'm 40 now and haven't seen one yet. 2005 was very close (loss to Colorado in Houston Bowl). I think Coach Kugler prepares his team to avoid any blow out, and quite possibly, picks up our first bowl victory since 1967.

Utah State runs the ball. UTEP runs the ball. It could end up being really exciting or really boring depending on how the defenses play. If UTEP can stop Utah State on a few possessions and force a turnover or two, they've got a shot at winning.

USU has a great run defense. We haven't done well vs. teams with great run defenses. We'll need to be more balanced, but CSK has been saying that all season, and it hasn't happened. I think our best hope is that USU buys into all the "blowout" predictions and expect that they just need to show up and we will roll over for them. We will NOT roll over for them.

As I stated in the other thread, just about everyone always picks against UTEP to lose their bowl game whenever UTEP makes a bowl game. No one ever gives UTEP any ******* respect whenever!they make a bowl game.
