Top 16 are completely the same schools. There are only three differences in rankings and they're each only one off.

So, what's the point of having this committee decide the playoff? Just let the BCS system decide the field.

I think that'll happen before too long. The committee will be in charge of the matchups, maybe will have the discretion to flip #4/5, #10/11 based on head-to-head and conference championships.

That would be more transparent, and we wouldn't see the capriciousness of ranking a team #3 after 11 games and then dropping that team to #6 after they win their 12th game 55-3.

If I remember correctly, Tranghese covered the Big 12 and he wasn't there last week.

Maybe he knocked TCU down since they left him.

Its hard to imagine a guy who destroyed a football conference and who invited Villanova is covering your conference.

I actually think you did, but it would be chalked up to Ohio State beating Wisconsin by a similar score.

The faux-BCS rankings had TCU #4 (and not even close to #3) and OSU #5 last week:

... and here are the "final" faux-BCS rankings, after the conference championship weekend:

Wait, really? No wonder we're left with these 4.

The BCS results were a joke, this years results are the BCS results, therefore--ergo--thus this year's results are a joke? Works for me!

Even BSU was rated #20 in the BCS vs Committee.

They are using BCS the computers in there development. Either way, it show how the Big 12 not having a CCG hurt TCU and Baylor from getting into the top 4. Which basically is saying, you have to be undefeated to get into the top4 without a CCG.
