I was in the minority last time when UCF left CUSA.

I'll probably be in the minority again if any team from the AAC moves to the Big 12.

I'm sick of it. I like playing USF, ECU, Tulsa, and the rest every year. Money shouldn't exist, burn all of it.

The remaining 10 teams in the AAC should just stand pat and bolt the door if anyone leaves. The exceptions would be Army, BYU, and Rice (if Houston leaves).

Yeah you are in the minority. If conference realignment happens again UCF needs to go to the Big 12 or another conference with the best of the AAC & MWC. Back filling with Southern Miss or Marshall is unacceptable.

Personally I don't think the Big 12 will take UCF, they can take Georgia Tech and get a bigger name and TV market/ Fan base and take BYU and get a huge fan base/ winning tradition. If UCF leaves it will be to the ACC to fill in for whoever the Big 12 takes.

I really don't think anyone needs to start packing their bags just yet.
It was TCU and Baylor who got locked out by media darling OSU. Now had it been Texas or oklahoma then I could see the Big12 saying we need that championship game.

UCF has had some fine moments in its brief history; but what makes you think that B12 wants UCF, or that Georgia Tech would have any desire to leave the ACC?

The problem IS. . . .the "best" aren't always the ones who get the invite. It's the ones who happen to be in larger, metro markets. Actual fan support isn't a factor. Makes no sense! $$$$$$$$$$

Big 12 is a better conference in football and Georgia Tech is a football school not a basketball school. I could also see Florida St. leaving after going undefeated and almost being snubbed by the play-off committee. Regardless there is no way the big 12 takes UCF in my opinion.

I think going to an 8 team playoff will stop the Big 12 from expanding.

Correct and you know the Big10 knows how close it came to being shut out as well as the SEC had Bama lost.

That and if the big 12 would have just had a conference championship game, either TCU or Baylor would be in instead of Ohio St.

I still think the committee would have found a way to get OSU in. This is all about money and TV ratings and OSU trumps both Baylor and TCU

Grant of Rights is a huge obstacle to that.

Ga Tech is not going to leave the ACC for the Big 12, doubt any ACC school would at this point.

Why? the big 12 has OU and Texas who are both better football schools than any ACC school, traditionally. They have TCU and Baylor, who will be good as long as their coaches stay and K-State and OSU who are both solid football schools. The big 12 has the Texas market dominated if they got both Georgia tech and Florida St., they would have a share of the florida market and the Georgia market and would be a conference that could compete with the SEC.

Big12 can't pull any team from the ACC. If they could it would have happened 2 yrs ago. If they expand I say they take two. BYU and Cincinnati. Those are the best adds.

That is where it is going and probably next year or the year after. Even if the B12 expands then one of the P5 champions is going to be left out. And then it is just going to come down to some school like Baylor or some really good SEC being left out, before everyone realizes that a 4 team playoff is just going to screw over someone.

Are you on crack? You'd have to be to think UCF is getting in the ACC before Cincy does.

I don't think they tried too hard, other than on Florida St.
