We were at Red Robin (Peoria area) last night & the manager was talking to us about the Boca Bowl. Said he went to college down there & a friend of his invited him to come down for this first bowl game there. His friend told him tickets to locals were selling well.

+2. My son and I are flying in Sunday and staying at the Mariott on the beach in Ft Lauderdale. Bough tickets thru NIU. Cant wait for this game and trip!

+5 I got GA1 GA 973-977.That doesn't match the seating chart. Anybody have some info?

Did you order through NIU? If so, those numbers don't mean anything. You won't know your seats until you get them in the mail (or in Boca Raton). They decide the seat assignment based on loyalty points.

The Orange Bowl was the first NIU game I attended in a loooong time. Looking forward to this game, for sure.

The Huskie Athletic Fund Priority Seating deadline is Thursday, Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. Seat locations will be determined based on 2014 donor level and then priority points within each level. All tickets ordered through NIU by Thursday, Dec. 11 will be mailed. Tickets ordered after that date will be available for pick-up in Boca Raton. The final deadline to purchase tickets through NIU is Friday, Dec. 19 at 5 p.m.

Might be attending w/ a few friends from down here... This Bowl game has worked out like the Orange Bowl, I'm down here in Lauderdale for work right now. Was flying back to Chicago on the 23rd, but might change flight to attend the game! Should be a good one, already great weather!!

Got our 6 tickets today. Section 103.

Am going to game and staying in Hollywood Beach Florida about 29 miles south of Boca Raton. Went to Poinsettia Bowl in 2006 and Orange Bowl two years ago. The only other bowl I have been to was Rose Bowl where Illini played UCLA. My late older brother was an Illinois alum and I grew up seeing Dick Butkus and players like that before I even knew about NIU. Hope to see and talk to some of you as I see you in Florida wearing my NIU orange bowl cap and Huskie jacket.

Game close to a sell-out.
